The name SOLEeVINO —means “Sun & Wine”.SOLEeVINO was purchased by the new owners, Liz & Massimo in 2022 and remains one of the last hidden diamonds in the area. The stunning, centuries old stone farmhouse was ‘re-awakened’ in 2023 with a thoughtful restoration that preserved its Tuscan character and brought it back to life. The aim of the owners was to create a property exclusively for adults where guests could relax and escape the crowds but also receive attentive customer service.
The Location
SOLEeVINO is set above the town of Greve in Chianti in a true Tuscan landscape with olives and vineyards in a land rich with stories and only minutes from town. Perfectly located between Siena and Florence it is the perfect location to explore the magnificent Renaissance cities and Chianti region.Historical maps from 1815 mark the property as an established estate, then known as Le Raggiole, though the farmhouse itself dates back much further. The surrounding land, Melazzano, appears in Florence’s archives as early as 1119, with references to grand estates and farmsteads recorded in 1427. Nearby, the Villa Melazzano—documented in the 16th century—was even described as a “turreted house,” solidifying the deep historical roots of the surrounding land.
